Iran is willing to restart nuclear negotiations with Washington provided that it is handled with "respect" and "respect", Tehran's foreign minister has announced.

Abbas Araghchi said solely negotiations was effective, and revealed recent overtures had been made by intermediaries to restart negotiations with the Trump administration. He asserted Iran had zero undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran had not yet reached a point to authorize the global atomic watchdog to visit attacked atomic facilities for protective measures.

He was speaking at a defense forum in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to refine atomic fuel within its borders that it will never give up" – the primary cause of the stalemate in the prior discussions.

Earlier Discussions Suddenly Terminated

The earlier sessions of talks between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and acrimonious end on 12 June when Israel, with American backing, attacked Tehran's atomic facilities in a two-week conflict that ended with the American leader asserting the locations had been eliminated. Following this, Western states used their authority to reinstate UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a significant effect.

Ideal Resolution Suggested

Iran's diplomats claimed they felt they had attained a "perfect agreement" to the enrichment issue in prior discussions, when it was decided an domestic cooperative with American involvement could refine atomic fuel. Both sides would have been able to claim victory since home-based processing would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was entirely non-military.

It had not been settled in the negotiations that Washington's technical specialists could function inside Iran, but that was a natural consequence of the consortium proposal. In his address to the gathering, intended to paint the US as a dominant force that misuses the idea of global regulations, Araghchi stated the two-week conflict demonstrated the clash could not be ended by armed force. He asserted the strikes began with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and ended with an complete request for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is certain the first strikes by Israel were executed with complete American awareness and cooperation, making faith challenging to reestablish.

Diplomacy Continues the Primary Solution

The foreign minister stated: "It was not Iran that had deserted dialogue; it was the United States and the European states that had consistently sought to enforce their demands during the talks. Negotiations can still be active and continues the primary resolution to address disagreements, but its criteria, rules and tenets must be respected."

"In case they speak to the Iranian people with the approach of respect and honor, they will obtain a response in the same approach."

Restoration and Rebuilding

In what is portrayed by Iran's diplomats as the struggle of repair and reconstruction, Araghchi stated he was certain Iran's military capacities "are much stronger than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. All our capabilities have been restored. We acquired multiple understandings from this war; we have discovered our personal limitations and the shortcomings of the adversary."

He added: "We managed to survive this war. Our atomic expertise, which they planned to destroy, continues to exist. The facilities and equipment, if destroyed, will be reconstructed; what is crucial is the determination of the nation of Iran and then the national cohesion that they aimed at, but were unable to break.
